Toresa Muitty-Mehra, B.A, M.C

Hi my name is Toresa Muitty-Mehra and I am an owner of Edmonton Educational Daycare Group. I have a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and I also have a Master’s degree in clinical counseling psychology. My masters program involved coursework in assessment of children and adolescents with an emphasis on early learning and development. I am also certified as a child development worker in early childhood education.

My family has owned child care facilities for over 25 years which piqued my interest in the field and lead ultimately to my passion. I therefore geared my education and experience to focus in the child care field. As I believe the early learning years are the most crucial time in a child’s life and as such we at the Edmonton Educational Daycare Group are dedicated to quality childcare. Our goal is to present a stimulating and supportive environment thorough which children may develop their interests to continue learning,

Throughout my career I have been privileged to work with many children, youth, and families and have seen the benefits of the programming and interventions implemented. With education, training, and experience in counselling, childcare, and business we strive to continue to implement proven strategies and processes that address a child’s holistic needs and progress them forward. With an eclectic approach we are dedicated to draw from current and relevant research to establish attainable programming plans that build on a child’s strengths.

Sunddip Muitty, M.C, R. Psych., Ph.D(s)

Sunddip furthered her studies in psychology by obtaining her Master of Counselling Degree, emphasizing individual therapy, family systems, and analyzing the effects of quality child care and staffing in ECE settings.  Within her team, Sunddip emphasizes the need to provide care using a basis of empathy and education.  Sunddip is currently a Registered Psychologist that works with people with differing mental health issues using a humanistic approach. She is a dedicated member at EEDG and is continuously looking to expand her team’s quality of care. Sunddip is now pursuing her Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership and hopes to continue to foster a culture of growth, learning, and quality care within her centers.
